We would suggest the following herbs:
Garlic: With its antimicrobial, antifungal properties, it is very good for candida. It is best not to cook it though. Best eaten raw sprinkled over salads or as a seasoning or alike.
Turmeric: A natural antifungal to fight candida. It has a strong anti-inflammatory effect on the immune system.
Neem oil: Absorbs free radicals in the body these are unstable atoms in the body, capable of damaging cells and causing viruses and infections, like candida. It has added benefits of wound healing, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and anti-diabetic properties.
Asparagus: An Ayurvedic defence against ulcers, dyspepsia and candida. Asparagus roots and tubers are just as powerful as the standard antibiotic medications for thrush.
Olive leaf extract: Has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties and works efficiently.
Ginger: Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and digestive tract stimulating properties. An excellent defence against oral thrush.
Ashwagandha: Once the candida has cleared, this is great for bringing the balance back to the body. Boosts the immune system. It has the added benefits of fighting tumours, neurodegeneration and anxiety.
