We would suggest the following herbs:

Goldenseal: High antibacterial properties that kill off bacteria and viruses that cause food poisoning.

Garlic: An excellent digestive agent. Swallow 1 clove of garlic daily with a glass of water. Garlic juice. Garlic and soybean oil mixture – massage the blend onto your abdomen after dinner.

Ginger: Boil a cup of water with 1tsp of grated ginger in it. Add honey to taste. Alternatively, ingest the raw pieces of ginger as is. Consume twice a day.

Yoghurt and fenugreek seeds: Ingest 1 tsp each of yoghurt and fenugreek seeds. Do not chew the seeds, swallow them whole.

Herbal teas: To cure and revive the digestive system:

  • Green chamomile
  • Meadowsweet
  • Comfrey root
  • Liquorice tea

Peppermint: Well-known for its digestive properties. Hard candy, Chewing gum, Tea: a handful of mint leaves – place them into boiling water, strain and then drink. Repeat 3x per day.

Basil: Extract a glass of basil juice from the leaves. Add honey for taste. Drink a few times throughout the day. 3Tbsp plain yoghurt (add basil leaves, add black pepper and sea salt). Consume several times throughout the day.
