We would also suggest the following herbs:

Skullcap: An anti-anxiety and mild relaxant herb. Very calming properties. 1-2g in pill form per day and 2-3 cups of tea per day.

Passionflower: Relaxing qualities known to treat anxiety and seizures. Improves GABA levels in the brain, which helps to slow overactivity in the brain down.

Valerian: Known to improve nervousness, restlessness, anxiety and insomnia. FDA approved and recognised as a safe remedy for seizures and tremors. 1tsp dried Valerian root powder into a cup of boiling water. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Strain and drink. Drink up to 3 times per day. *Tablet form*.

Kava Kava: A relaxing agent to treat nervous system disorders. Use with caution so as not to irritate the liver.
